High-Speed Precision Cutting for Flexible Blank Production
Incorporated into a coil line, an AFCO AC servo-driven oscillating shears can increase the efficiency of your CTL line as well as reduce blanking tool costs. Production rates up to 120 SPM will result in high productivity and can reduce floor space and operator workload. The programmable shear oscillates with each stroke, pivoting to cut both rectangular and trapezoidal blanks with reliable, repeatable precision. These shears are available with multiple dies and automatic die change to increase the processing range or cut type.

Self-Driven Shears
Flexible In-Press Cutting Solutions for Increased Production Efficiency
Integration of AFCO in-press, self-driven shears results in increased flexibility for our Customers. These oscillating units are fully contained and self-driven, extending the capability of a blanking press by converting a slow-speed blanking line into a high-speed cut-to-length line. This can be accomplished as quickly as it takes to change out a die set.
The programmable shear oscillates with each stroke, pivoting to cut both rectangular and trapezoidal blanks with reliable, repeatable precision.
