Thread Tables

Material is threaded through the leveler and across the raised loop thread table and into the feeder rolls.

With the feed rolls open the feed side guides adjust to the appropriate position.

The line movement will then stop with material at a point beyond the feed rolls, the feed rolls are then closed, and the loop thread tables will be lowered. 

With the loop thread table lowered the entry section of the coil line runs to fill the loop and then stops.

The line is then available for line run.

Features

  • The exit loop pit catenary and thread table utilize segmented low inertia urethane rollers. 
  • The loop exit thread table includes three programmable positions: thread up, line run and tail out.
  • The catenary includes independent, near and far side material side guides, and an electric motor adjusted with Temposonic electronic position feedback.
  • Side guides are equipped with independent micro edge sensing to allow variable coil width and off center set up capability.
  • The catenary includes an anti-backup roll to prevent material from inadvertently falling into the looping pit.
